Potential
We recognize each child as a unique creation of God — full of curiosity, creativity, and capacity to grow. Our classrooms are built to notice and nurture what each little learner brings.
Play
Learning is most joyful when it’s also play. Our days are built around exploration, movement, stories, songs, and discovery — the ways young children naturally make sense of the world.
Partnership
We work hand-in-hand with families — because a child’s best education happens when home and school move together. Parents are welcome, included, and essential to what we do.
Our Programs
Two Classes for Growing Learners
Age 3
Early Learners
Designed for children who turn 3 before September 1 and are new to the preschool atmosphere. Early Learners take their first steps into a classroom community — learning routines, making friends, and discovering the joy of structured play.
Age 4
Pre-Kindergarten
For students who have turned 4 by September 1 and will attend kindergarten in the next calendar year. Pre-K builds the confidence, social skills, and early academic foundation children need to thrive at big school.
About the Preschool
A Ministry of First Presbyterian
The Pendleton Presbyterian Preschool is a ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Pendleton. For decades we’ve welcomed children from across our community — whether their families attend our church or not — into a classroom shaped by faith, warmth, and high expectations for what young children can become.
