Our congregation offers a variety of educational opportunities for all ages. Regular classes meet September through May, with some special programs during the summer months.

Adult Sunday School

Each Sunday from 9 to 9:45 AM a group of adults gather in the Vert Room. The purpose of these classes is to provide interesting, enlightening and entertaining information and experiences to confirm, support, and expand our basic Christian convictions and beliefs. Much of the curriculum is DVD-based studies, where we watch video and then discuss.

Adult Sunday School also hosts special guest speakers on a variety of topics such as mission work and travel abroad.

Classes meet regularly September through May, and do not meet during June, July or August. Our schedule will resume for fall on September 23. Join us on Sunday mornings!

Children & Youth Sunday School

Classes for children ages Preschool through 5th Grade are offered every Sunday during worship. Young people are asked to sit with their families for the beginning of the service. About 10:15 or 10:20 AM, they are dismissed to Sunday School in our upstairs education classrooms.

Classes are:

Younger Class – Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st Grade
Older Class – 2nd Grade through 5th Grade

We use the We Believe curriculum from Presbyterian Church (USA), which offers a solid foundation of Old and New Testament stories, parables, and teachings about Jesus’ life and ministry in order for young people to learn about the Bible, God’s love for them, and how they can use these lessons in their daily lives.

Our teachers are volunteers who teach for 6 weeks at a time from September through May. In the summer months, we sometimes use a different curriculum and we use a variety of different teachers.

For Middle School students (ages 6th grade through 8th grade) there is Sunday School for three 6-week sessions throughout the school year—one in Fall, one in Winter, and one in Spring.

Each Sunday, caregivers are available in the Church Nursery during 10 AM Worship to take care of children ages Infant through 5 years old.
